Agnes Floto

Agnes Floto died peacefully in her sleep on Saturday, December 7, 2025, after a lengthy illness. She was 73. A Nevada girl through and through, she attended elementary school in McGill, junior high and high school in Fallon, and college at the University of Nevada in Reno.

Agnes Mary Volk was born May 3, 1952, to Eddie Volk, an equipment operator, and Juanita Bilbao. Agnes had one brother, George Volk, who passed a few years ago. She received her degree in special education and was a teacher in Fernley for about a decade. She transitioned to managing the office of her husband, Dr. Jon Floto for many years.

Agnes is survived by her husband, Jon, of Fallon; son Jeremy and his wife, Cassandra, and their children Zane and Orla; daughter Corie and sisters-in-law Larma Volk and Lori Floto.

It is The Family's preference that Donations, in Agnes's memory, be made to the William N. Pennington Life Center at 952 S. Maine Street, Fallon, NV 89406.

A graveside service will be held on December 16th at 1:00 pm , at the Churchill County Cemetery in Fallon. A gathering for friends and family will follow.
