Charlotte K Koestner

Charlotte Kay Koestner passed away January 5, 2026, at the age of 81, she was born in Palisade Colorado to William and Linda Allen on Dec 26, 1944. She was the youngest of 7 children. Her Siblings were Dan, Weldon, Jim, Louise, Ray, and Doug. She married Billy Gene Koestner in 1967 in Jeffery City Wyoming; they were married for 30 years before he passed in 1997. They had their only son William Millas Koestner in 1977. They then moved to Gillman Springs Nevada outside of Austin, Nevada. Where she lived, she moved in with her son in 2023 in Fernley, Nevada.

During her time on earth, she loved to garden and work in her yard in Gillman and in Fernley, she also was very active in her church Kingston Baptist church and Austin Baptist church, was dedicated to going every Sunday. She loved gospel and old county music. She also loved going for rides and joining friends and family on their fishing trips. Kay loved spending time with her close friends and family and meeting new people. Kay would travel back and forth between sister Louise in Colorado and brother Jim in Nevada, she was close with all her siblings till their passing. She was proceeded in death by her parents her siblings and her husband. Kay is survived by her son William (Stevie) granddaughter Katharine (Willard) Rand and Great-granddaughter Eveleen; she also had many nieces and nephews. Services for Kay will be graveside in Kingston Nv date to be determined.
