Joseph (Matt) Morris passed away peacefully at home on August 24, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Kim; his daughters Ashley (Bailey), Nikki (Hill), and Jessica Morris; his beloved mother, JoAnn; sister Shannon; brother Chad; and numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends who were like family.

Matt was our gentle giant—a talented carpenter, a brilliant mechanic, and the kind of man who could fix anything, build everything, and make anyone laugh. His quick wit and love for a good “dad joke” brought joy to those around him, and we’ll miss the back-and-forth messages filled with humor that only he could deliver.

More than anything, Matt was a loving husband, father, grandpa, son, brother, uncle, and friend. He gave his heart fully, worked with his hands proudly, and lived with quiet strength and deep compassion.

He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and craftsmanship—and a hole in our hearts that can never be filled.

A private celebration of life will be held with close family and friends
