The Gardens Funeral Home, Crematory & Cemetery offers traditional funerals, burials and cremations.

Established in 1999, we have served Northern Nevada with compassionate and professional care for bereaved families. We have a beautiful Chapel that seats over 400, a family room, two visitation rooms, and a reception area for gathering after services. Our beautiful cemetery has Memorial Gardens, Columbariums as well as a Veterans Section and a Scattering Garden for cremains, plus we have a green burial section. Private family estates are available.

Our commitment to the community is to provide a wide range of options at your time of need. We offer free plots for Veterans, cremation or casket, charging an endowment care fee and open and closing fees. A reservation may be made for spouses, with an additional charge for them. We allow upright headstones, therefore I order the upright military marker, which is free to the veteran.

We have opened up two sections for green burials. With a green burial the caskets are wicker, bamboo or sea grass, there is no embalming and no vault. You are dressed or wrapped in a cloth. The headstone is an upright rock. The ground is covered with dg and we have trees and shrubs also in the area.

The lane of flags is growing with 10 more flag poles recently added. There are 24 more to go to complete my dream. Seeing all those flags up at the same time, blowing in the Nevada wind is really a site to behold, especially when you think of the meaning of the flag. (Check out the photo gallery to see.) I can’t wait for it to be complete!! You can donate a flag for someone who has been in the military and is deceased. There will be signage for that person at the base of the flag pole. Just call if you want to donate.

We design our own funeral flowers. When first family arrangements are being made, families will have the option to choose from our books any flower arrangements they desire. Out-of-town family can also call orders in.

We are proud to be Fallon’s First Crematory and we also offer a wide range of urns to fit every budget. Our services are available in Fallon, Fernley, Carson City, Reno and any outlying areas.
